Buyers/Specifiers FAQ

I’m interested in attending Hospitality Match. How do I register?
Fill out the Buyer/Specifier Interest Form. We’ll touch base about your active projects and if applicable, make your travel arrangements and ask you to choose the suppliers you’d like to meet with.

How is Hospitality Match different from a standard trade show?
Match pre-arranges focused, one-to-one meetings with FF&E suppliers that interest you. These 20-minute sessions allow you to learn about relevant products, ask questions and get to know suppliers.

What can I expect to get out of Match?
In just three days, you’ll establish business relationships with a broad array of FF&E suppliers. Discover new product lines. Find fresh solutions to design and procurement challenges. Meet influential colleagues in hospitality design. Build your network. And fast-track the time-consuming process of identifying potential vendors, making contact and scheduling an initial meeting.

How many buyers/specifiers and suppliers typically attend?
That’s the beauty of Hospitality Match. We limit participation to 50 buyers/specifiers and 50 suppliers, so we typically have about 100 people on-site. This makes for a friendlier, more intimate atmosphere where you can really get to know both the suppliers that interest you and the colleagues you’ll meet throughout the event.

What type of suppliers can I expect to meet?
Virtually every category of hospitality FF&E is represented at Hospitality Match, from art and accessories to wall coverings and carpet. Our goal is to connect buyers/specifiers with an interesting mix of emerging and established vendors, to keep you and your designs current and fresh.

What happens when we’re not meeting with suppliers?
Match provides a full slate of casual networking activities, educational seminars, receptions and dinners to help you make the most of your experience. This allows you to spend additional time with your best supplier matches—and with colleagues who quickly become friends.

What is the dress code?
Dress is business casual.

What is the cost to attend?
There’s no cost to the buyers/specifiers who are selected to participate. Match covers your airfare, airport shuttle, three-night hotel stay at The Francis Marion Hotel and F&B.
